Learning is a highly personal
experience. Therefore, this course will do and mean different things to
different people. One thing is certain, however. You will get out of
the experience whatever you are willing to put into it. Only you can
decide. On the other hand, you can expect your instructing team to give
themselves to you and the course whole-heartedly.
From past experiences, we know
that individuals grow in self-confidence; enrich their personal and
social life by being able to better communicate with their spouse,
children, and friends; and deepen their personal satisfaction and work
performance on the job.
Our graduates have been most
grateful for having had the opportunity to overcome fear and
self-doubt. Most speak of the thrill of developing a new ability -
effective speaking. But even more thrilling is the opportunity in the
class situation to share the development with others, to learn to laugh
at one's mistakes, and to lose oneself in the joy of another's
achievement.
The Christopher Leadership
Courses are a non-profit organization. The Lumen Institute, the
governing body for Christopher Leadership Courses, is responsible for
the professional training and certification of all Christopher
instructing teams. The sole source of revenue for training of leaders,
for course promotion, and for administration comes from the sale of the
course manuals. Instructors receive no gifts or financial renumeration.
